She came to the law through her reading, writing, and analytical skills. She entered law school interested in corporate law but found her passion for criminal defense after her first criminal law course and research and internship work in the field. She values what makes each case different and is committed to treating every client with care, attention, and respect.
Because criminal cases often intersect with mental health or substance use, she looks, whenever possible, for solutions that support long-term stability. She takes the time to listen so each client feels heard and involved while she guides them through important legal decisions.
Outside of work, Gillian enjoys spending time with her husband and their rescue dog, traveling, and being outdoors.
