Ocean County's courthouse is at 100 Hooper Avenue in Toms River, and the county's 12-hour IDRC is also in Toms River, on Sunset Avenue. It is a long county along the Garden State Parkway and Route 9, so Lakewood, Brick, Jackson, and Manchester stops are heard in those towns' own municipal courts before anything reaches Toms River. Catholic Charities runs Providence House, the county's DCF-funded domestic violence program.
